Kanji Reading Practice #32 - Park Signs 落石注意

 I labeled this Kanji Reading Practice as "Park Signs" because that is the mostly place that you will see a sign like this.

You will see some of the kanji used here on signs in other places; like recent hiking signs that I have posted. I also left the English on this sign. While leaving the English on there will give away the reason for the sign; there is a lot more going on with the Japanese on this sign that what the English translation says. Kanji Reading Practice #32 - Park Signs 落石注意 has kanji from WaniKani levels 43 and below. As twelve of the 13 kanji used here are level 30 and below; I tagged it at 30 and below as well.

落 (ラク) – fall; drop; come down

石 (セキ) – stone / and (いし) for 2nd usage

注 (チュウ) – pour; concentrate

意 (イ) – idea; mind; thought

危 (キ) – dangerous; fear

険 (ケン) – risky; precipitous; steep place

柵 (サク) – fence; railing

内 (ナイ) – inside; within; between

立 (たち) – stand; rise; rise up

入 (いり) – enter; insert

垣 (かき) – barrier; wall; hedge; fence

登 (のぼ) – climb; ascend

行 (おこなう) – perform; do; carry out

注意 (ちゅうい) – caution

危険なため – Due to the danger; because of the danger

柵内への立入や – fence inside going

石垣へのよし登りは – stone wall climbing

行わないでください – don’t do please

Due to the danger, please do not enter the fence or climb on the stone wall.
